On February 11, 2020, in Orenburg, honoring the best scientists of the region, dedicated to the Day of Russian Science, took place. In the hall of celebrations of the Government of the region, the gathered representatives of the scientific sphere, rectors of Orenburg universities were welcomed by the Governor D.V. Pasler. The head of the region awarded diplomas to the best scientists who became laureates of the Governor's Prize in the field of science and technology for 2019. Nine laureates represented the Orenburg State Pedagogical University: I.A. Akimov, E.O. Karakulina, S.V. Lyubichankovsky, S.V. Dzhundzhuzov, E.E. Lutovina, L.A. Akimova, P.A. Yakimov, R.R. Khisamutdinova, A.A. Voronova.

On the same day, the concert hall of the Orenburg Regional Palace of Creativity for Children and Youth named after Polyanichko hosted the celebration of young scientists - candidates of sciences and doctors who were awarded personal scholarships and personal prizes. Among the awarded - 12 associate professors of the Orenburg State Pedagogical University: K.Yu. Gerasimova, D.V. Isaev, E.A. Leontiev, M.A. Poland, E.A. Stukolova, V.V. Tarasenko, E.S. Fominykh, A.P. Eremin, L.I. Mukhamedyarova, A.N. Peresunko, I.V. Ignatushin. The deserved awards were presented to them by the Minister of Education of the Orenburg Region A.A. Pakhomov.
